Juneau Veterinary Hospital seeks a dependable, compassionate, and friendly veterinary assistant/receptionist for immediate hire. Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced, professional environment. Experience preferred, but we will train the right person. We are hiring a part-time position and a full-time position, Monday – Friday, no weekends.
Candidate must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and comfortable working with both people and animals. This job is fast paced. It requires multitasking and outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Your duties will consist of animal handling and restraint; assisting the veterinarian, other staff members, and clients; preparing lab specimens; cleaning; scheduling appointments, and answering the phone.
