Program Analysts - Flexible, Remote, Temporary

ediate openings for temporary Program Analysts. The primary duty of this role will be to process applications from Alaskan businesses as part of the $90M AK-ARPA grant program that JEDC was recently awarded by the State of Alaska. Prior to applying, see below for details.

SELF-SCREENING QUESTIONS:

Are you available to work in a temporary position from now until mid-December (full-time and ¾ time options available).

Do you have back-office processing experience in banking, financial services, state programs, or other exposure to revenue data, eligibility requirements, grant fulfillment, or customer service?

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment?  

Do you enjoy providing input into a flexible schedule for work during regular business hours, afterhours, and/or weekends either from home or in the office?

Are you comfortable working in a collaborative environment that relies heavily on instant messaging and cooperation either with or without social interaction?

Do you want to play an active role in creating a thriving economic environment for Juneau?

Do you prefer to work for an employer that prioritizes employee safety and a healthy economy? 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated experience in a similar role providing back-office processing support or technical/financial-oriented customer service.

Ability to maintain confidential information, provide exceptional customer service, work committed hours with little supervision, sustain effort through mid-December, have an eye for process and detail.

Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and collaboration tools (Google Drive or SharePoint). 

Must be a resident of Alaska. Non-resident applicants will not be contacted by JEDC.

  

COVID-19 MITIGATION:

Work location options include the JEDC office or a remote environment of your choice.

To work in the office, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Masks are to be worn in the office, consistent with current CBJ guidelines.
