Behavioral Health Office Manager
Permanent Full-Time, Overtime Exempt Position
Gastineau Human Services (GHS) 5597 Aisek Street, Juneau, AK 99801
GHS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people in Juneau restore their lives when they are adversely affected by addiction, or homelessness or incarceration. This position is responsible for overall program/administrative functions and effective and efficient delivery of the behavioral health services. This position will also assist the Clinical Director as needed.
The Behavioral Health Office Manager is full time, permanent overtime-exempt position.
The Office Manager must demonstrate a strong background in leadership, time management, communication and editing skills. This position requires the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and interface with GHS clients, all Behavioral Health Program and Administrative staff and the community.
Schedule: Full time- 40 hours per week, M-F
Starting annual income DOE beginning at: $56,376-$79,242
Knowledge/ Abilities/Skills:
Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and requirements for client confidentiality including CFR-42 in the fields of mental health, addiction and legal issues.
Ability to collect, compile, and understand statistical data;
Experience with corporate reception and office duties;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; organizational, time management, and problem solving skills;
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in the field of business administration, or a related field human services field OR
An associate’s degree in the field of business administration, or a related field human services and experience in Behavior Health, Office management, or related area equaling two years may substitute for the bachelor’s degree OR
Any combination of post-secondary education and/ or experience in these fields business administration, Behavioral Health, human services, or a related fields equaling four years may substitute for the bachelor’s degree
Excellent writing, computer and communications skills.
Experience with Medicaid standards and AKAIMS, preferred.
Must be 21 years of age, current AK driver’s license and be insurable by current GHS auto insurance carrier, pass a UA, and DHSS Background check.
