We are looking for an experienced Appliance Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ experience specializing in washer and dryer repair. Applicant will perform duties on Fort Wainwright full-time Monday through Friday.
General Responsibilities include:
Responds to service calls to install, service, and repair Washers & Dryers on Federal Facilities.
Examines appliance during operating cycle to detect excess vibration, overheating, fluid leaks, gas leaks and loose parts.
Cleans and washes parts to remove carbon, grease, and dust. Replaces worn or defective parts and wiring.
Maintains safe work practices and environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to read and write English.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings and have clear driving record.
Due to Government vaccine mandate, candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or willing to undergo weekly testing.
