Hoffer Glass is a local, family-owned business seeking a motivated front counter sales representative to assist with sales and general office duties. This is a full time, permanent position with room to grow within our company. Candidates should have experience working in an office environment, have exceptional customer service, confident in working with customers in-person, as well as via phone and email. Candidates should be familiar using computers, computer equipment and software, such as microsoft office, printing, scanning and emailing. As a sales representative, you must be able and willing to learn and have a strong knowledge of our products and services, along with strong written and verbal skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic employee to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience for our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Must be punctual and able to maintain a professional mindset.
Answer phones, greet customers, correspond with customers and general office duties.
Scheduling and confirming appointments; tracking job status and payment collection.
Quoting a variety of products and services such as glass, windows and doors.
Ability to learn new software programs
Ability to utilize basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, proficient computers skills, ability to learn new programs and software as well as general office equipment such as ability to scan, fax and e-mail.
Detail orientated, superior organizational skills ability to problem solve and ability to multi-task
Clean driving record as occasional expediting may be necessary.
Provide up-to-date product information to potential buyers.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work well and professionally with co-workers.
Order products for customer orders.
Other office duties as assigned.
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Operate and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding.
Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and promotions.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, showcasing excellent phone etiquette.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
Stay informed about new products, promotions, to provide accurate information to customers.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales, office setting and customer service is required
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate pricing information.
Familiarity with POS systems, and retail math is a plus.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and sales techniques.
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in every interaction.
Construction background a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
