JOB DESCRIPTION
Small Fairbanks company is looking for a few team players to join the staff, providing satellite Internet service to residential and business customers throughout the state. Employee will receive on the job training to become familiar with various consumer satellite internet options available based on needs and location, from initial contact through all phases of providing the service and follow-up with customers and suppliers. Ability to work with suppliers through various portals to place, receive and produce orders for fulfillment is required Employee must have ability to lift 50 pounds, receive equipment, inventory, store and repack for installers to send to customers. There are many additional small tasks that are part of other jobs as assigned and are not limited to the above. As a small business, each team member cross trains to assist other staff during peak cycles.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to deal with people in a friendly, patient & efficient manner in a high stress environment. Attention to detail is a must as well as organizational skills and initiative to follow multiple tasks through to completion. Working geographic knowledge of the state and communities within as well as cultural awareness of small town, rural and village life to communicate with potential and current customers. Must have working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office products, Adobe PDF editor, or comparable software. Networking and computer technical experience is desirable.
Military experience welcome, especially in a technical field

Pay: $15-$17 DOE
