Maintenance Administration Coordinator

Our Juneau Transportation and Guest Services division is looking for a Maintenance Administration Coordinator to join their team. This position plays a pivotal role within the Maintenance team, ensuring the proper parts are in stock and preventive maintenance of our fleet is tracked and scheduled.

Responsibilities

Manages division’s RTA Fleet management system. The RTA program is specially designed computer program that tracks purchasing of inventory, parts and fuel, and provides vehicle maintenance tracking, preventive maintenance scheduling and employee productivity analysis.

Monitors critical parts inventory levels and reorders to established pars, routinely counts inventory to ensure accuracy in RTA.

Maintains accurate inventory of division’s parts, motorcoach and shop supplies.

Create, processes all work orders, purchase orders and invoices.

Prepares and receives shipments for the shop.

Track, schedule, and coordinate all preventative maintenance of our assets.

Maintains maintenance vehicle records files.

Performs clerical and maintenance duties required by departmental supervision.

Answers calls from employees, management, and customers to respond to inquiries.

Requirements

This job normally requires a level of knowledge in parts inventory equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent. certification. Demonstration of directly related work experience, which has provided a depth of knowledge may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.

This job normally requires experience in positions involving parts inventory.

A current Alaska State Driver's License is required prior to your first day of employment.

The ability to meet the Company's clean driving requirement is required. A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested.

Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized inventory systems.

General knowledge of maintenance is preferred.

Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.

Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.

Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with management and staff.

Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
