The Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living is currently searching for a Housing Case Manager to assist in implementing the goals and objectives of the housing program, advocate on behalf of individuals, provide safety planning and engage in and role model direct conflict resolution. This position will research, prepare, and facilitate groups around independent living, provide crisis intervention and support to individuals and their children, and assist individuals who are transitioning from shelter to independent living. As a Housing Case Manager, you will address housing issues, assist with rental assistance applications and other resources to get housing supplies, provide weekly follow up in person or over the phone, and will maintain accurate client records and statistics.

Minimum qualifications include an Associates degree in social work or closely related field; sufficient job experience may be used in lieu of education. One year experience with trauma issues, crisis intervention, advocacy, and group facilitation. Valid Ak Drivers License. Proficient with computers and ability to do data entry. Ability to lift 40lbs and walk up stairs. Excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills. Ability to pass background check.
