Position: Production & Wholesale Assistant, Full-time
Pay range: $20/hr+; depending on experience and qualifications
Job Description: As our local Production & Wholesale Assistant you will be responsible for delivering to our local Fairbanks accounts, as well as performing general warehouse and brewhouse duties. We are looking for a proactive and hands-on individual who can provide exceptional customer service to our accounts, as well as our ever-growing brewery team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver kegs and packaged products to wholesale accounts
- Clean lines and maintain HooDoo equipment at wholesale accounts
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate with our Sales & Wholesale Manager to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Assist in most functions related to beer production including cellaring, packaging and warehousing
- Assist in coldbox organization and inventory on all beer in process, and brewing materials
- Assist in the cleanliness and organization of brewing, cellaring, and raw material storage areas
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
- Assist with special events and beer festivals
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Current TAPs and AK Food Workers Card or ability to acquire within 30 days of employment
- Valid AK Drivers License
- Forklift experience/certification preferred, but not required
- Experience driving larger trucks preferred, but not required
- Must be a detail oriented, motivated, and positive personality
- Ability to work both independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time, lift 55lbs regularly, and move 165lbs, as needed.
- Willingness to work in an active and physically demanding workplace
