The Guest Service/Reservations Lead is expected to take a leadership role as a member of the Guest Service/Reservations team to ensure the successful execution of all support activities required to achieve expectations-exceeding travel experiences for our guests in Alaska's Arctic.
Specific Responsibilities:
Provide leadership/guidance on guest service/reservations issues as they arise.
Make logistical decisions related to yield management.
Answer and appropriately direct phone calls.
Greet walk-ins and appropriately respond to needs.
Respond to phone and walk-in inquiries.
Take phone, walk-in, fax, mail, and e-mail reservations.
Execute required follow-up on and confirmation of guest reservations.
Produce experience-related documents.
Operate 15-passenger van to shuttle guests to/from terminal as required.
Perform flight-planning and flight-following responsibilities.
Assist with phone, fax, mail, e-mail, and label inquiry fulfillment as required.
Assist with other reservations activities as required.
Assist with other guest service activities as required.
Assist with ramp activities as required.
Assist with accounting activities as required.
Assist with other tasks or activities as required.
Schedule:
Full-time, year-round position
Hours/schedule seasonally influenced
Flexible schedule
5 days per week, 8 hours per day [30-minute meal break]
Compensation:
$20.00/hr. [potential for higher starting wage dependent on skills and experience]
401 K with company match after six months employment
