Job description
We are looking for LOCAL, EXPERIENCED, and reliable tour guides who have extensive knowledge about Alaska, driving the Dalton Highway, and who can keep a van full of guests (maximum 8) entertained for up to 14 hours a day.
This winter tour (now to early April) starts mid to late afternoon and return early the next morning to allow for optimum aurora viewing so you will need to be able to work through the night.
This is our most popular tour, which is the 400 mile round trip to the Arctic Circle out along the Dalton Highway which is run all year round. We are looking for somebody who can confidently take this tour out with the confidence to drive on snow and ice.
You will be provided with a weekly schedule, although, some flexibility may be required at short-notice if required.
We are looking for mature and reliable people 21+ with a clean driving record and a great knowledge about Alaska, its history and the area, for an immediate start.
