Global design and innovation firm IDEO is designing a new insulin pump to support people living with insulin-dependent diabetes.
We are working with a medical device company to design the next generation of insulin pumps. As part of our research process we'd like to meet a variety of people with diabetes to better understand their lives, needs, and hopes. We'd like to talk to people with Type I and Type II diabetes, those who have used insulin pumps before and those who have not, as well as children with diabetes and their caretakers. If you or your child are living with diabetes, we'd love to hear your thoughts.
We'll be doing 1.5 hour video interviews with people who have diabetes during the months of September and October. You might also be asked to complete a small homework assignment (e.g., answering a few brief questions and taking some pictures of your daily life) before the interview. Compensation will be $150 for the interview, and an additional $50 for the homework.
