Teachers' Aide / Educational Assistant

Provide sound educational leadership and guidance to students; apply the Montessori philosophy to all aspects of your day, including at recess, during lunchtime, and in the classroom; training and orientation to the Montessori philosophy provided. Assist with all aspects of classroom operation, including preparation and set-up, lesson and activity planning, organization, supervision of children, safety and security. Collaborate with classroom lead and assistant teachers and other support staff for best practices of behavioral management, social-emotional learning and support, practical and communication skills; sanitize and organize school environments. Complete other tasks and projects as assigned, including light groundskeeping, plant and animal care (training provided). Serve as a classroom substitute as needed.
