Secret Garden Cannabis is a fast-growing, vertically integrated (Retail, Cultivation and Manufacturing) cannabis company looking to hire a Packaging Manager to oversee all aspects of our cannabis packaging operations.

Job Title: Packaging Manager
Salary: Compensation based on experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing all human resources aspects of the Packaging Department, including staff hiring, termination, and
performance management,
Managing all operational aspects of the Packaging Department, including cannabis inventory management, packaging operations, labeling, quality control, and interface with product needs,
Maintaining a clean, sanitary and organized work area,
Tracking inventory in METRC as required by Secret Garden policies and procedures,
Creating and maintaining operational schedules and labor requirements,
Creating and following compliance policies and procedures,
Creating and maintaining sanitation and waste protocols as required by policies and procedures,
Input to New Product creation,
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience working with cannabis
Experience managing a team
Passion for learning
High level of personal integrity
Knowledge of general product safety and sanitation practices and requirements
Organized, punctual and ability to work as a team player
Proactive, self-motivated and hardworking
Strong attention to detail
Microsoft Office and math skills
Physical Ability:
Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
Be able to work in a stationary position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
21+ years of age
License:
Anchorage Municipality Food Handler's Card (required)
Alaska Marijuana Handler's Card (required)
