As a key part of our operations, we are looking to add a skilled Marine Mechanic to our team to
help maintain and repair a variety of boats and marine equipment.
Job Summary:
The Marine Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of
boat engines and marine systems focusing on Mercury Outboards, Mercrusier and PCM engines.
This includes outboard, inboard, and stern drive engines, as well as troubleshooting and fixing
electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, and more. If you have a passion for working on

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair a variety of marine engines, including outboards, inboards, and stern
drives.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boats and marine systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and fuel systems.
Conduct seasonal repairs and pre-season check-ups.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs to
clients.
Keep detailed records of repairs and services performed.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a marine mechanic or similar role (minimum 2 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with a wide range of boat types and systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in various weather conditions, including outdoors in cold or wet
environments.
High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in marine technology or related field
a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
