We are looking to add a lead carpenter to our growing company. We specialize in remodeling and new residential construction and are in need of an individual with problem solving abilities and carpentry experience. We build many different projects where you will have variety in your daily tasks. New hires will have the opportunity to work with other lead carpenters and be asked to lead a small team or work independently as needed. We have an easy-going, respectful work culture and work hard to set each other up for success. Our work area is mainly the Mat-Su Valley and Anchorage.

Responsibilities
Interpret plans, drawings and descriptions of projects to be completed
Perform construction duties including demo, layout, framing and finish carpentry
Install concrete forms, framing, trusses, siding, windows, doors, trims, flooring, roofing, and other carpentry related items
Lead a crew of 1-3 with clear communication and direction
provide oversight to crew members to ensure safe practices and quality workmanship
Anticipate the materials, labor, equipment needs of ongoing projects
Communicate with clients onsite
Identify and resolve problems onsite
Provide updates to project manager
Use technology to record jobsite information
Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the job
Qualifications
Proven experience as a carpenter
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $45 per hour
