General construction company in the Palmer/Wasilla area seeking a clean, professional, and experienced carpenter.
Job Requirements:
Must have experience with finish and rough carpentry in commercial and residential work.
Must be willing to learn and want to expand your skillsets within all facets of the construction industry.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and no major driving violations within the last 5 years.
Must have your own set of basic hand tools.
Must be able to complete tasks and comprehend directives with minimal instruction and oversight.
Must be a self-starter, have excellent communication, and a willingness to work alone or alongside a crew.
Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
Must work safely and adhere to all current working condition laws.
Ability and willingness to abide by company code of conduct, policies and procedures.
Education and or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 2 years work experience in the construction industry. 5 years preferred.
Must have basic math skills to make calculations.
Steel experience preferred but not required.
