CANNABIS CULTIVATION MANAGER – SECRET GARDEN
Secret Garden is a fast-growing, vertically integrated (Retail, Cultivation and Manufacturing) cannabis company looking to hire a Cultivation Manager to oversee all aspects of our cannabis growing operations.
Our Cultivation department is focused on growing sustainable high-quality cannabis. We have a large facility and have established very strict quality control and sanitation standards.

Job Title: Cultivation Manager
Salary: Compensation based on experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing all human resources aspects of the Cultivation department, including staff hiring, termination, and performance management,
Managing all aspects of Secret Garden’s Cultivation department, including properly maintaining healthy genetics, propagation, Veg and Flower phases, and harvest,
Tracking inventory in METRC as required by Secret Garden policies and procedures, and by Municipal and State regulations,
Creating and maintaining operational schedules and labor requirements, including budgeting for operational costs,
Creating and maintaining an employee schedule for 24-hour operations,
Creating and following production procedures, including associated paperwork,
Creating and following compliance policies and procedures, including associated paperwork,
Creating and maintaining sanitation and waste protocols as required by Secret Garden policies and procedures, and by Municipal and State regulations,
Creating new products and supervising their development and launch,
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Experience working in high-volume hydroponic and non-hydroponic growing environments
Experience managing a team
Flexible availability
Passion for learning
High level of personal integrity
Knowledge of general product safety and sanitation practices and requirements
Organized, punctual and ability to work as a team player on various projects
Good people skills with the ability to manage relationships with a broad spectrum of people
Proactive, self-motivated and hardworking
Strong attention to detail
Solid Microsoft Office and math skills
Adaptable and able to think on your feet
Physical Ability:
Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
21+ years of age
License:
Anchorage Municipality Food Handler's Card (required)
Alaska Marijuana Handler's Card (required)
