THE JOB: Aircraft inspections, modifications, maintenance and repairs. We do gear change overs from wheels, to skis, to floats. We offer a great work environment! Weekend and holidays off. Flexible schedules. Free hangar use for your personal aircraft.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED, Airframe and Power Plant License. Valid Alaska Drivers License with a good driving record required. Demonstrate basic mechanical knowledge of General Aviation. Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Responsible, under supervision of and/or as trained and qualified to perform, for repairs and maintenance on assigned aircraft. Remove/disassemble parts as required; assemble and install replacement parts and components as needed. Assist in troubleshooting of maintenance issues involving aircraft structures, systems and engines. Perform modifications per FAA requirements and organizational standards. Complete all necessary maintenance records and paperwork as required. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings to perform required maintenance tasks. IA license a plus.
