Adagio Day Spa located right in a Downtown of Anchorage, looking for experienced, environmentally and health conscious Massage Therapist to join our team. We are looking for therapist who is in Blue Cross Blue Shield/Aetna network as a provider and has an experience to perform medical massage,right medical notes We have a constant flow of clients that offers great opportunities to build a steady following and a strong income.
At Adagio Day Spa we believe that the Massage Therapists should be able to focus on the most important aspect of their job - the healing, therapeutic touch of the massage delivered.
Adagio Day Spa is a professional environment where all of your linens and supplies are provided for you. All of the aspects of your appointments, including booking, confirmations and billing, are handled by our front desk team.
Principle duties include:
- Perform consecutive 50/80-minute quality massage therapy sessions.
- Design specific sessions based on client's individual needs.
- Promote the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
- Create excellent experience for members/guests through friendly and helpful attitude.
- Generate new clientele.
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
Job Requirements:
- Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.
- Must carry liability insurance.
- Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required.
- Knowledge of other various modalities preferred.
- Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and sales staff.
- Able to work flexible days and hours.
- Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
- Be in network with BCBS/ Aetna
