We are a small family-owned business operating both a cannabis cultivation facility and a retail dispensary. We are looking for qualified individuals who are ready to jump in to this exciting industry and grow with us.
The ideal candidate will have some experience operating a point of sale system to complete transactions as well as knowledge of the various effects and benefits of cannabis, including terpenes, strains, and CBD. Please note, you MUST have an Alaska Marijuana Handler's Permit as well as a Food Handler's Card prior to beginning work, and they MUST be listed on your resume.

Compensation:
$13.00 / hr to $14.00 / hr
Responsibilities
Create a best-in-class customer experience from greeting to after the sale, including assisting customers in choosing product and efficiently completing transactions in a way that is compliant with all state laws regulating the cannabis industry
Open or close the store with a manager or shift leader, as well as complete hand-offs with the next shift crew
Promote a positive team environment at all times
Weigh and measure cannabis product at the point of sale, accurately recording weights to maintain compliance with state laws
Accurately complete transactions within the point of sale, following all cash control procedures
Monitor and update menu items as needed, alerting managers when inventory is low
Maintain store aesthetic, ensuring customers have a great environment to enjoy
Listen to customer wants and needs to determine best items and value
Qualifications
Alaska Marijuana Handler's Permit
Alaska Food Handler's Card
Retail or sales experience
Desire to grow within the role or promote within organization
Positive attitude and impression of cannabis and cannabis products
Ability to communicate in a professional manner at all times with customers and co workers
