Sales Manager
Alaska Trailer is seeking a Sales Manager for a fast paced and expanding trailer dealership. Must have three years experience in retail, sales, marketing and staff management. The Sales Manager will oversee retail sales, sale operations, and sales team members and ensure a positive team environment through strong leadership.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Be self-motivated, lead, mentor, and coach sales team to maximize their potential.
Interact with customers and manufacturers
Prospect and explore market opportunities
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication, computer skills for basic clerical duties and organizational skills.
Will have overall responsibility for the profitability of the sales department and supervision of salespeople.
Identify customer needs, order and receive all whole goods, establish gross margins, know and use manufacturers’ programs for dating, returns, and ordering.
Ensure accountability for the correct and accurate completion of sales.
Understand and report on the competitive landscape, market trends and propose strategies to maintain business momentum and improve the company's position.
Requirements:
Must have three or more years of sales management experience in a retail environment
Must possess a valid driver’s license, and be subject to insurance carrier’s approval.
Able to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be able to work a 40 hour week, and be able to work extended seasonal hours as set by store opening and closing, be able to work Saturdays, and during customer demands
