The person in this position will support six salespeople in a B2B wholesale business. S/he will need good verbal and written communication capabilities, customer service and people skills, organizational abilities, and some level of computer competency. Responsibilities may include:
Answering phones
Assisting customers
Taking orders
Updating and maintaining databases
Updating and maintaining company web site and social media sites
Resolving order and inventory issues
Assisting salespeople with sales and marketing materials
If desired, the employee may work towards moving into a salesperson position.
This position is in Anchorage and is available immediately. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The hourly rate will be between $18 and $22/hour depending on experience. Benefits will include health insurance with a 75/25 cost share, three weeks of paid vacation, and a 401(k) with company match.
