Position Summary:

VBM Technology Management Partners is currently reviewing applications for self-motivated, detail-oriented document scanner operators. The workload varies based on the demand of clientele. This is a part-time job at our Wasilla Headquarters.

Job Status: Part Time

Employee Type: Hourly

Pay: DOE

Work Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with Flexible Part Time Hours

Position Roles & Responsibilities:

You will be tasked with scanning confidential records organized in folders and stored in filing boxes.

You will remove the documents from the folders, remove staples and other obstructions that can't be run through a scanner. VBM Technology Management Partners will provide production quality scan devices capable of scanning thousands of pages per day.

There is a great deal of computer usage when scanning, saving and naming records; VBM Technology Management Partners will train you on the process of saving the files to the computer.

Since these files are often protected health information, you will receive training on best privacy procedures and compliance with HIPAA and State of Alaska confidentiality laws.

Tools for this job will be provided by VBM Technology Management Partners

Expected 30-38 hours per week. Flex-Time is optional, allowing for (4) 9-hour days per week or (5) 7.5-hour days per week.

Personal Skills/Qualifications:

Must be VERY detail oriented…integrity of the information being handled is paramount

Positive attitude

Ability to work alone while staying on task

Quality assurance

Professional appearance and approach to work

Reliable Transportation to and from VBM

Ability to pass a Criminal Background as well as a toxicology screening

Technical Skills/Qualifications:

GED or equivalent preferred but not required

Basic computer literacy skills required

Ability to quickly sift through stacks of paper & organize for scanning
