POSITION OVERVIEW
The Nature Conservancy is seeking an exceptional leader for Alaska State Director as we execute on our ambitious conservation goals. A trusted name in conservation within the state and beyond, The Nature Conservancy in Alaska has worked to protect the state’s cherished landscapes and develop sound science to support ecology, the economy, and innovative conservation. This role offers a unique opportunity to design and implement a strategic approach to Alaska’s conservation priorities, and help shape a resilient, viable future for all Alaskans. The Alaska State Director drives the Alaska Chapter’s conservation strategy, public policy leadership, and fundraising functions. She/he works closely with the Alaska board of trustees to create and implement the Chapter’s conservation strategies in alignment with The Nature Conservancy’s 2030 Goals. She/he is accountable for building a work environment that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
