We are looking to fill a Full Time Accounting Clerk position. An ideal candidate will be professional, having great communication, organization, and Microsoft Office skills. A plus knowledge of using simple excel spreadsheets for the purpose of tracking date, mastery of the keyboard to enter data accurately and efficiently into Excel spreadsheets and data bases. Comfortable dropping off paperwork, deposits and picking up mail. Must have reliable transportation, valid AK Driver’s License, and vehicle Insurance. This is an entry level positions and a great opportunity to grown in the field of accounting.
Essential Functions:
File.
Bank runs.
Pick up of mail.
Track timesheet.
Enter DSP Timesheets (Kenai, Matsu).
Prepare Deposits.
DSP hours tracking for HR spreadsheet.
DSP new Hire Set up.
Timesheet Matching and spreadsheet
Check in and out times timesheets.
Wage and labor forms, as needed.
Help with AP for back up, as needed.
Set up files for new year, organize archives for filing, and help with Audit pulls.
Running of offsite errands
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Excellent and precise data entry and typing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. to detail.
Maintain HIPAA regulations.
Maintain Confidentiality
Ability to work independently.
Other Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of entry level accounting experience preferred.
1years of data entry and filing experience.
Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
Reliable transportation.
Highly proficient with Microsoft office Suite.
Know or can learn Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Ability to pass a State-Federal fingerprint and name-based Background Check.
Pay Rate: $15.55 to $16.25 DOE
Full Time Non-Exempt

Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
1 years of data entry, filing, use of excel spreadsheets for tracking data.
Preferred Education
Associated degree with Accounting coursework or equivalent work experience on a year to year basis.
Working Authorization
Access Alaska Inc. require completion of a State & Federal of Alaska fingerprint background check prior to starting work.
