Shape the Story of the Built Environment
Architects Alaska is seeking a motivated Marketing Coordinator to help bring our projects, pursuits, and brand to life. You’ll support proposal development, content creation, and day-to-day marketing operations, working closely with the Marketing Director in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment that shapes the built environment. This position is open to candidates based in Anchorage, hybrid, or remote. We will also consider fully remote applicants with the right credentials.
Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will:
- Manage the preparation and submission of high-quality RFPs, RFQs, and SF330s for public and private sector clients, ensuring compliance with requirements and on-time delivery
- Organize and coordinate elements of complex proposals with limited supervision
- Maintain and update marketing content—resumes, project sheets, technical narratives, photography, boilerplate copy, and staff bios—to showcase the firm’s expertise
- Use creative design to improve the visual appeal and readability of marketing materials
- Provide administrative support, including research, event assistance, and data entry
- Coordinate and manage award submissions
- Create original content for social media and the company website
- Collaborate with staff, subconsultants, and clients in a professional and responsive manner
- Uphold our quality control and brand standards across all marketing materials
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of A/E/C marketing or proposal coordination experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills—able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Work in a collaborative environment, taking responsibility for accomplishing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign required, Canva and Photoshop a plus)
- Experience with CRM databases such as Deltek Vantagepoint preferred, Open Assets
- A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
