We are Alaskan owned, have 9 Doctors, our technology is state of the art, and we have a full optical shop with top-of-the-line eye wear.
Duties:
Work as a team with doctors, staff, and patients especially during the transition from medical to optical.
Educate patients about the eye wear that best fits their needs.
Style patients into frames that best meet their style preferences and the requirements of their prescription.
Sell eye wear to patients.
Greet patients as they come into the optical office.
Check-in, Check-out, and schedule patient appointments.
Assist patients with frame and lens selections and the frame ordering.
Educate patients on frames, lenses, and coatings.
Responsible for timely processing of all orders to labs
Accurate processing of patient purchases with all orders entered in the EHR.
Bill and submit eye wear electronically to correct lab.
Provide adjustments and repairs to patient’s frames.
Keep frame boards orderly and dust free.
Help keep dispense area clean.
Responsible for delivering and sustaining exceptional customer experience.
Provide professionalism, courtesy and positive attitude to patients and staff.
Responsible for continuing an energetic and positive impression when working with the patients.
Cross train for other positions within the location.
Perform additional duties as requested by management.
Trouble shoot optical issues.
Responsibilities
