We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage staff to ensure efficient workflow

Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards

Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels

Implement and enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards

Train, develop, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance

Manage scheduling and shift assignments for kitchen personnel

Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery

Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for kitchen staff

Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting processes to optimize profitability

Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in the kitchen

Requirements

Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends

Familiarity with POS systems such for efficient order processing

Experience in inventory control, cash handling, and budgeting practices

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality dining experiences

Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation regulations

Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining establishments is preferred

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid drivers license
