HEAD CHEF / KITCHEN MANAGER NEEDED
Suite 100 is in need of a creative, high energy, reliable and motivated individual to lead our kitchen management team. This position is perfect for any hardworking individual who loves creating real food, managing a professional kitchen and fostering a strong team-work environment. This is an evening night line full service kitchen. We are a 98% scratch kitchen which equates to daytime prep and nighttime line production. We have an established menu, augmented with a daily list of specials so your creative energy will be required. However, the ideal candidate will also assist and improve our existing systems and production capacities. Supervising, teaching, mentoring and developing our current good/great/ish staff is an integral part of this position.
This job includes (but is not limited to):
-management of inventory, ordering, scheduling, training, and daily operations of a high volume kitchen
-controlling food costs and adhering to a budget
-controlling labor costs
-creating daily special dishes
-creating and maintaining a positive and professional environment for guests/staff
-must be able to work 10-12 hour days (standing and walking)
-must be able to lift 50lbs.
