Job Description
The Gear Specialist is responsible for the inspection, cleaning, and repacking of outdoor gear and assisting the Outfitter Specialist and Outfitter Lead as needed.
Full-time and part-time positions available. Flex schedules available. Perfect for students or parents. Year round work available.
General Responsibilities:
Check in returned equipment
Inspect items for damage and report to the Lead Outfitter.
Clean the equipment.
Pack the equipment for its next adventure.
Keep the shop clean and organized.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of outdoor sporting goods helpful but not required. (Camping, Fishing, Paddle Sports)
Morning & weekend availability.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8‐hours in length.
