Job Title: Inventory CheckerCompensation:

Pay: $30-32 per hour

Anchorage, AK

Job Description:The Inventory Checker will be responsible for counting, logging, auditing, and reporting on amounts, usage, and waste of airline catering materials (meals and beverages). This role supports an effort to increase efficiency and reduce waste, working in an airport hangar and line station environment. This is a 1+ month project with a 5 days/week, 8 hours/day schedule, assigned based on flight schedules.Top Skills - Must Haves:

Key Responsibilities:

Review catering orders.

Document all unconsumed hot meals, sandwiches, fruit, etc.

Take photos of incoming catering.

Count all dry supplies and beverages.

Input all information into a database.

Reorganize the galley and supplies.

Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull moderately heavy objects (up to 70 pounds).

Conduct inventory checks at catering vendor and on aircraft.

Ensure proper inventory is prepared and delivered to downline caterers.

Communicate any inventory or planning deficiencies, tracking and monitoring performance.

Audit outbound meals to ensure departures’ catering matches approved orders.

Audit inbound meals to analyze meal and beverage leftovers.

Prepare audits and reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must be eligible for an airport SIDA badge.

Must be physically able to operate an iPad, stand, stoop, and climb stairs.

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Must have experience using Microsoft Office products like Word and/or Excel.

Work Environment:

5 x 8 hour shifts/week; could be daytime or overnight, must be open to shift assigned based on aircraft schedules; could be modified last-minute if there are delays or cancellations.
