Looking for an experienced Project Architect / Designer who will thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, specializing in custom residential homes, modern design techniques, and digital communication. This opportunity directly responds to the nature of the current health crisis by embracing an ethos that focuses on working independently with limited office presence and transparent project communication.
Applicants must be familiar with architectural standards, basic engineering practices and methods, residential building code and the process for creating clear complete documentation for buildings construction. This individual must be able to communicate effectively with clients, and be the shared point of contact on projects.
Proficiency in Revit and Adobe platforms is paramount. Knowledge and use of Sketchup, Enscape, Lumion, CAD, and digital communication software is welcomed. Project Architect in this role must also be knowledgeable with the scope of services in an individual contract and be able to prioritize tasks in order to keep the project on track and within budget. This individual will be expected to perform all levels of architectural duties as required.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum 5 years' experience in custom residential projects. They should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited program. If candidates should be a registered Architect then there is a considerable opportunity to ensure future growth.
Candidates are expected to provide their own computer and software to perform contract work. Pay is based upon contract sums and industry standards. Efficiency in project delivery and time invested equates to billable hours.
I understand that this isn't a comfortable job opportunity for traditional office types, but it provides a lot of personal freedom, flexibility in work schedule, and design creativity for someone who seeks to be self employed.
Must be willing to provide work samples and/or portfolio capable of demonstrating skills and abilities.
