Joan’s Preschool Center is hiring!
We have openings for Teachers, Substitute Teachers, Teacher Assistants and Breakers preferably with a background in Early Childhood Education. We are looking for motivated individuals who are responsible, creative, energetic, warm, organized, dependable and team players. You must enjoy working with young children.
Daily tasks would include the following:
Assist in planning and implementing the daily program.
Daily classroom cleaning.
Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times.
Interacting with students throughout the day.
Education Preferred (not required):
A current CDA, Montessori Certificate or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
Requirements:
Available to work Monday through Friday
Able to lift 40 lbs. each day
Pass a background check
Previous work with early childhood care preferred
CPR/First Aid certified or be willing to obtain upon hire
Complete required professional development training required by the Municipality of Anchorage annually
