Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Parts Counter:
Answer phones, Schedule Customer Service Appointments
Perform retail sales activities to include sales agreements or over the counter (OTC) sales.
Receive, secure and store all parts and supplies purchased.
Ensure parts received in error or requiring return are documented and return for credit.
Ensure adequate retail parts are in inventory and properly displayed for optimum sales opportunities.
Ensure Technicians are supplied with parts in a timely manner.
Prepare and price Repair Orders (RO) for retail service agreements as directed by the Retail Service Manager.
Assist in fielding Service phone calls.
Assist the Sales and Service department with scheduling deliveries.
Special Projects:
Additional projects assigned by Retail Service Manager or his designees.
Other:
Assist in building security, securing trade secrets and keeping confidential and other proprietary information secure.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid Alaska state driver license and clean driving record.
Must be comfortable driving Large Vehicles with provided driver training.
Must be able to effectively sell parts to prospective clients.
Must be able to work well with others as well as alone.
Must be able to pay consistent attention to detail.
Must be highly motivated, energetic individual.
Must punch in and out for the workday, and in and out for your lunch break.
Must be able to work until September 30th, including weekends and holidays.
Must have consistent and reliable work attendance.
Must be to work on time.
Strong verbal and communication skills
Proficient in computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
