Job Description
The Outfitter Specialist is responsible for interacting with guests to ensure orders are complete and to provide an understand of how to use the equipment. Works under direction of the Outfitter Lead.
Full-time and part-time positions available. Flex schedules available and perfect for students and parents. Year round work available.
Pay: DOE
General Responsibilities:
Review manifest and prepare orders 3-days prior to arrival.
Work with guest to provide checkout sheets and provide overview of equipment in orders.
Work with walk-in customers to create new orders and pull equipment.
Quality check pulled orders to ensure all items are accounted for.
Check-in returned orders to ensure all items were returned.
Manage customer disputes as needed.
Take payments and issues security deposit refunds.
Take calls and answer questions and take bookings.
Qualifications:
General love for Alaska outdoor adventures and willingness share information.
Knowledge of outdoor sporting goods helpful but not required. (Camping, Fishing, Paddle Sports)
Morning & weekend availability.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8‐hours in length.
