The Accounts Payable /Payroll Accounting specialists performs accounting and tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of payroll and accounts payable transactions. Accounts payable experience is a must for this positions; payroll experience is good, but will train.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Review payables invoices, resolve invoice discrepancies, and enter into system for payment
Sort and match invoices and check requests
Prepare and process accounts payable checks and credit card transactions.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Reconcile statements
Assist forwarders or Allied with questions regarding payables
Assist Accounting Supervisor with other duties as assigned.
Process weekly payroll for up to 170 employees.
