We expect to win as a company and lead the industry by achieving success together with our customers, employees and investors.Level 2 Vibration TechnicianStevenson, ALCareer Opportunity:The Stevenson, Alabama Mill manufactures corrugated medium and is one of North America’s largest fully integrated semi-chemical pulp and paper mill. Stevenson, Alabama is centrally located between Chattanooga, Tennessee and Huntsville, Alabama. The Stevenson Mill overlooks the beautiful Tennessee River, and the mountains and lakes in the surrounding area offer plenty of outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, or hiking. A short drive to either Huntsville or Chattanooga offers a variety of restaurants, nightlife, museums, concerts, shopping, or other interests. We have an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Technician professional.Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, this position will independently provide technical expertise to solve problems and provide technical solutions. WestRock Reliability Technicians are actively engaged in collecting route-based reliability data, analyzing the data, and reporting findings back to the mill management in a timely manner. This position will make appropriate recommendations for corrective actions by identifying component, equipment and system issues through process equipment analysis and using predictive maintenance programs. Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Vibration Analyst Category II certification

2 years of industrial vibration service

Experience using an Emerson 2130 or 2140 analyzer or similar vibration data collector

Experience with Emerson "Machinery Health Management" or similar vibration analysis software

Preferred Qualifications:

Vibration Analyst Category III certification

Experience using an Emerson or similar system that has online monitor system: 4500 or 6500

Balancing and ODS experience

Ultrasonic testing experience

Infrared experience

How you will impact WestRock:

Provide Vibration and reliability technical support in a fully integrated corrugated medium paper mill.

Utilize current technology to find machinery defects early enough to schedule repairs during planned down time.

Utilize vibration, infrared, ultrasonic technology on a daily basis.

Use an Emerson 2130 or 2140 for daily reliability routes

Use an Emerson 2130 or 2140 to balance rotating equipment such as fans or pump impellers

Analyze data taken during the above routes to find machinery defects and put in work request to have them repaired

Write work request in CMMS for issues found during routes or database analysis.

Monitor and Analyze vibration data taken by the automatic Emerson 4500 system

Set up new equipment into the Machinery Health Management system

Use the ODS system to analyze systems as needed

Provide support to Operations, Maintenance and Reliability to eliminate unplanned down time do to equipment defects

Provide reliability coverage as needed which may include extended hours, nights, weekends and call in.

Perform work in various weather conditions which includes indoor and outdoor routes.

Attend operations, maintenance and safety meetings as required.

Promote a safe work environment by participating in safety audits, special teams, soar observations, and other voluntary participation activities.
