Molder’s Helper / Foundry
Overview:
Works on a team of 3 or 4 people using hands while standing and walking to build molds which is a multi-step process involving packing the mold with sand, painting, operating a torch and using a heat lamp.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with hands to build or repair. Will have experience working in a manufacturing environment. Will have good hand / eye coordination. Will be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the day. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend. Ability to work safely.
Job Duties:
Use hands to pack sand
Uses hands to paint with a paintbrush
Lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift
Walks back and forth during entire shift
Use hand / eye coordination to complete tasks
Use eyes and hands to quality check your work
Full Time Day Shift:
Monday – Thursday
6:00 am – 4:30 pm
$15.50 / hour
$300 sign on bonus after 90 days
Grinder Operator
Overview:
Operates pneumatic handheld grinders to smooth out rough finish on metal castings. Works at one station for most of the shift in a standing position. Uses eyes and hands to examine the quality of work. Uses hands to hold and operate the various grinders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with pneumatic tools, a variety of hand tools and power tools and hydraulic crane hoists. Will have experience working in a manufacturing environment. Will have good ability to work with the hands. Will have good hand / eye coordination. Will be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the day. Ability to work safely.
Job Duties:
Operate handheld pneumatic grinder
Remove air hose from the grinder to change out tools
Lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift
Stand in one spot for long periods of time
Use hand / eye coordination to complete tasks
Use eyes and hands to quality check your work
Full Time Day Shift:
Monday – Thursday
6:00 am – 4:30 pm
$15.50 / hour
$300 sign on bonus after 90 days
Full Time Night Shift:
Monday – Thursday
4:30 pm – 3:00 am
$15.85 / hour
$300 sign on bonus after 90 days
Part Time Day Shift:
Monday – Thursday
6:00 am – 11:00 am
11:30 am – 4:30 pm
$15.50 / hour
$300 sign on bonus after 180 days
