Data Cabling Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Data Cabling Technician will assist with the installation of cable supports, equipment racks, data cabling (Cat-5&6) routers, switches, VOIP phones, Access points and other network equipment. Duties will also include terminating and testing data cabling.
This is a part time position. Need a technician to help with installation projects over the next 3 weeks, possibly longer.
Some of the installations are in the Montgomery, Birmingham and Huntsville area. Will pay the hourly rate to commute.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Some previous work experience with installing Cat 5 and 6 is desired
Any previous experience in communications or networking is a plus
Must have reliable transportation.
