Description SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Cloud One team. The Air Force Cloud One Program is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure that hosts mission systems, applications, services, and data in support of DoD Services and Agencies. Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and DevSecOps principles to provide common services and facilitate cloud application migrations to IL-4, IL-5 and IL-6 (NIPRNet / SIPRNet) cloud environments. The main locations for this role are at Gunter AFB and Hanscom AFB. The responsibilities of the Project Manager:
  • Participate in engagement meetings for customers interested in moving to the IL-6 environment
  • Facilitate orientation/discovery meetings, engaging support of the technical team as necessary, to identify and assess the customer's requirements.
  • Prepare Technical Requirements Notice proposals to enable enhanced support, when needed
  • Establish schedules, track and report on project status
  • Submit and track requests to stand up new environments
  • Provides polite and friendly customer service
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of six (6) years or more management experience with a Bachelors OR equivalent work experience. Preferred Experience with Cloud engineering and networking for AWS, Azure, Agile, GCP or OCI. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree . Experience providing customer support, project management, coordination or facilitation of onboarding meetings
  • Security + Certification
  • Experience with and knowledge of DoD (NIPRNet / SIPRNet)
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and/or Service Now as user.
  • Excellent, demonstrated verbal and written skills.
  • Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working with US Air Force Cloud One, C1 Dev, or GCCS CCE Operations
  • CSP certification
  • Certification ITLI v3 Foundation or Cloud Certification
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
