Job Description

• Position can be 100% remote
• Drives the performance and execution of technical areas
• Designs and architects software changes
• Develops estimates and support development of software release schedules
• Coordinates coding, testing and implementation efforts with technical staff
• Code, deploy, and test applications according to user stories and industry best practices
• Conduct peer reviews and code reviews
• Create and implement system-wide Unit Test plans for regression testing
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure those features never break
• Use version control to version your code and documentation
• Manages release schedule for application sustainment and enhancements
• Supports documentation for scheduled and emergency releases including design documents, releases notes, migration documentation
• Ensure implementation to AF policies and Agile processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
• 10+ years of experience leading software development efforts
• Experience with Java 8 / Oracle Forms 12c
• Experience with organizational, motivational and leadership skills
• Excellent understanding of Object Oriented software design.
• Must be a creative thinker who can work well on a team
• Ability to pass National Agency Check with Law Enforcement and Credit (NACLC)
• Must be US Citizen
• NACI Clearance

• Experience working in Agile Teams, Agile Estimations
• Experience with Oracle DBMS 12
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic
• Experience configuring systems on a RHEL and Windows Server 2012
• Experience working with AF CMOS or AF systems sustainment policies and processes.
• Security+ Certificate
• NACI Clearance or higher

This is a full time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
