ERP International is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. The

Business Analyst will be responsible for providing oversight of functional aspects of an application to ensure successful operation and proper representation of program complexities, including training and end-user familiarization. This highly specialized role will also be responsible for analyzing user needs, relationships, and requirements and facilitating the design, implementation, and maintenance of new or existing information technology systems for functional and business analysis and procedural development. The ideal candidate will also write, review, and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to the proposed solution. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for user contact, act as a liaison between the non-technical user and technical staff to ensure user’s requirements are met most effectively, develop methods and procedures for achieving entity goals and objectives and serve as a functional expert as well.

  • Agile Methodology (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, XP, any Agile methodology)
  • Agile Phases (e.g., Backlog Refinement/Grooming, Pre-Planning, Sprint Planning, Build, Code, Test, Go-Live Production, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospective).
  • Features (describes the needs of the customer).
  • Story (describes how to bring the feature to life).
  • Business Rules (for the story).
  • Acceptance Criteria (for the story).
  • Traceability linkages (feature – story – design code – test cases – bugs).
  • Testing Components:
    • Test Strategy (sprint).

  • Participates in a team of systems programmers and end-users in the definition of systems requirements including processing, reporting data, and performance requirements.
  • Leads testing efforts of various levels of the application participates in the design of test data to ensure the resulting system meets client needs.
  • Ensures that the system functions properly to meet customers’ needs.
  • Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine the effect on the overall system and coordinate recording of modifications for configuration management control.
  • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Works with customer to identify required changes, develops or participates in the development of modifications to systems.
  • Responds to end-user needs by communicating needed changes to the development/engineering team concerning software and hardware requirements and capabilities.
  • Ability to clearly write test plans (to include objectives, methodologies, instrumentation requirements, analysis, safety, etc.) and test procedure documents.
  • Able to conduct analysis of output data, provide results and recommendations.
  • Ability to prepare test scripts and all required test documentation.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration or 5 years of directly related experience as a Functional Analyst.
