We are actively seeking HVAC Sheet Metal Duct Mechanics and Helper:
$21-$23 Mechanics $16-$19 Helper
We are seeking experienced HVAC Duct Mechanics who can handle a variety of projects including commercial new construction.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience as HVAC duct mechanic.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of materials and equipment per plans and specifications to ensure projects are properly installed, successfully pass all required inspections and are completed within required time frame
- Install sheet metal and duct board to code
- To include, but not limited to setting curbs, install units, hang hoods, install duct, install flex, wrap duct, install grills
- Follow safe work practices when working with hand tools and/or power tools
- Communicate effectively
Qualifications:
- Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening
- Possess general knowledge of HVAC installation
- 2+ years HVAC Duct Mechanic experience
- Ability to perform all physical aspects associated with the position
- Must possess hand tools/power tools necessary to perform functions of the position
- While performing the duties of this position the employee is required to stand, walk or sit. Must also be able to bend, squat/kneel, climb and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
