GSPS Marine in Gulf Shores, AL, is hiring an experienced powersports golf cart technician.
Verifiable Golf Cart experience to include manufacturers such as EZ-GO, Yamaha, and Cushman Golf Carts. The Service Technician works to diagnose, and repair customer golf carts brought to dealership as well as in house units as needed. The service technician would also be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and conducting quality checks on work performed to ensure that repairs are made correctly the first time.
Experienced Powersports Golf Cart Technician's Responsibilities
Perform work on golf carts- both service and building as needed. Service, troubleshoot, diagnose & repair as well as install accessories and customize / modify carts as requested —to include batteries and electrical accessories.
Work with the Service and General Managers to perform all tasks needed to maintain high level of customer satisfaction with new cart initial quality and repair quality. Manage multiple work orders and utilize computer systems to document work performed — also use manufacturer computer diagnostic systems to aid in cart diagnosis and repair.
Safely operate heavy machinery — such as fork truck, etc.
Other responsibilities include:
Ensures all tools and equipment are maintained and in good repair
Maintain clean personal appearance
Maintain clean work station
Maintain company vehicles to highest standard
Ensures all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
Attends training seminars / service schools as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned
Pay based upon experience. Good driving record preferred. We offer paid training to Yamaha and other cart manufacturers service/electronics schools to applicants that exemplify outstanding mechanical aptitude.
