Part-Time Building Custodian – ABBA Shrine Center (Mobile, AL)
ABBA Shrine Center is currently seeking a Part-Time Building Custodian to join our team. This position averages 30 hours per week, with occasional overtime based on event needs.
Work Schedule:
Typical hours are Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with some weekends and evenings required during scheduled events. Flexibility in scheduling is a must.
Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Setup and breakdown of tables and chairs for events
General cleaning of facility and grounds
Mowing and weed eating outdoor areas
Basic facility maintenance
Cleaning and restocking restrooms
Emptying trash and maintaining cleanliness during and after events
Assisting renters and vendors during events as directed by Building Manager or administrative staff
Performing other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with forklifts and scissor lifts preferred, but not required
Reliable and punctual
Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
Previous custodial or maintenance experience is a plus
Must have reliable transportation
