Hotel Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor for Port City Motel in Mobile, Alabama

Location: Port City Motel, 1520 Matzenger Dr, Mobile, AL 36605
Requirements: Customer service, and/or hospitality experience preferred but will train the right person.
Work hours: 8 hour shift per day (Either: 7 am to 3 pm; 3 pm to 11 pm OR 11 pm to 7 am)
The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to guests, manage guest requests, ensure an accommodating guest experience and have a basic knowledge of computers.
The front desk clerk is in charge of checking in the customer on the hotel reservation system and helps guests get oriented to the hotel and the area. They communicate with guests in person and via phone and handle any problems with the guests’ hotel room.
Responsibilities:
Available to work one of the three shifts.
Run the audit report (for the night shift only) from previous day's hotel operations
Check in customers using computer programs (ASI), take guest payment, assign rooms and provide guests with key cards
Inform customers of hotel policies and procedures
Inform customers of all on-site amenities and any relevant information that is needed to use them
Communicate with guests to handle and resolve guest complaints
Command a professional appearance and demeanor for the hotel.
