JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC has a need for a Avionics Software Test Engineer to support the Apache PPSS Test Team located onsite at S3I/Redstone (Huntsville, AL). Responsibilities include:- The candidate will provide test engineering support for military tactical equipment and software applications.
- This includes testing support for the requirements development and integration of avionics related technologies.
- The candidate should have a strong background supporting testing of military equipment and experience troubleshooting issues and problems with the software applications and equipment.
- The candidate should be capable of preparing documentation and test reports associated with the integration and testing of the equipment.
- Experience with C software development is required.
- The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of multi-tasking, and have initiative to attack and solve problems with minimum supervision.
