Description JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC has a need for an Automated Software Test Developer to support the Apache PPSS Test Team located onsite at S3I/Redstone (Huntsville, AL). Responsibilities include:
- The candidate will provide test-engineering support for military tactical equipment and software applications.
- The candidate will take requirements and decompose to test methods and test cases written in C.
- Develop automated test cases and test procedures to be used in verification activities.
- Develop and report out test results to the program.
- The candidate will work to streamline the test process/schedule to support program milestones.
- The candidate will work closely with the software development team to ensure the software meets requirements and supports the overall system
- The candidate should have a strong background supporting testing of military equipment and experience troubleshooting issues and problems with the software applications and equipment.
- The candidate should be capable of preparing documentation and test reports associated with the integration and testing of the equipment.
- Experience with C software development is required.
- Prior Linux experience is required
- Embedded test experience is required
- The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of multi-tasking, and have initiative to attack and solve problems with minimum supervision.
- Avionics/Apache experience is a huge plus
