SYSTEMS ARCHITECT (USACE-20-1507-W) Bowhead is seeking a Systems Architect to support the US Army Core of Engineer's Common Operating Picture Visualization contract in Huntsville, AL. This contract will support USACE Covid-19 efforts by realigning databases to a different system & providing a dashboard to allow all user's to check on the status/update of any USACE Covid-19 effort. This position will be FULLY REMOTE. The Systems Architect will analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges and other devices. The Systems Architect will resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing and the like. Configures systems to user environments. Moreover, the Systems Architect will support acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services. The Systems Architect may also act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for lower level employees. Requirements • BS in relevant field plus five (5+) years of relevant experience is highly preferred • Experience with USACE networks. • Knowledge and/or experience working with P2 CMI applications, and the delivery system from AIS P2, CEFMS, and RMS. • Experience with P2 Production, Test, and Development Environments. • Knowledge of system relationships between P2, CEFMS, and RMS via ETL to construct the Common Integration Layer (CIL). • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
